Ubisoft has confirmed that the hotly anticipated Prince of Persia has officially gone gold, with the game now on track for its UK release in early December.
The Prince and his dexterous sidekick Elika will be battering enemies and leaping precariously about rooftops from December 5 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with a PC version following on December 12.
Folk across the pond in North America will get a piece of the action slightly earlier on December 2. Watch trailer in full post
We don’t typically like to register our video game consoles with game publishers. After watching Enemy of the State, we like to stay off the grid, even if we don’t exactly understand what the grid is or why it should be avoided. This may just be enough to turn us though: Ubisoft says that those who register their Gamertags or PSN IDs with Ubisoft.com will be able to download a free Altair skin to use in Prince of Persia.
Is it a classic example of brand dilution? Sure! But is it a cool enough case of brand dilution to make us ignore that? Absolutely.

Ubisoft has debuted a new story-based trailer for the latest installment in its popular Prince of Persia franchise.
Due for release this winter, the eponymous cell-shaded epic acts as a reboot for the franchise, introducing a completely new storyline, gameplay mechanics and graphic design. The game has you teaming up with a female counterpart named Elika, who facilitates the Prince’s efforts as he explores huge environments and battles an assortment of goons.

Playstation 3 owners will be happy to hear that Ubisoft has revealed the full-list of trophies that are going to be in POP PS3 version.

Ubisoft has really done some amazing work in this trialer, amazing Music, great gameplay footage. This trailer has booked Prince of Perisa on my list of must-have games. Enjoy it as we did.
Ubisoft accounced the release date of their famous long running Prince of Persia Series. Citizens of US will be able to play Prince of Persia on 2nd December. After two days of US release, Europe will get their share on 4th December, followed by UK release on 5th December of Playstation 3, X-Box 360 and PC.
Ubisoft has opened a new chapter with this installment, featuring new Prince with new art of style as well as game mechanics. This time you will be slicing through the game course with your new ally Elika. Elika is helps him in his fights and in cleaning corrupted lands.
