GTA IV Keys to Liberty City

PhotobucketIf you got GTAIV on or just after its release, managed to rack up a 100% completion percentage and got one of those “return within seven days” emails, congratulations. You were one of the first people to “complete” the game, and earned yourself a prize. If you took the time to read that email, you’d have noticed that Rockstar warned it could take up to 120 days for your prize - a “key” to Liberty City - to arrive, depending on how many they had to make.

Sony PSP-3000 to Launch in Japan for £90+

The new version of the PlayStation Portable, the PSP-3000, will be available in Japan on October 16, 2008 for around £90.

The new PSP-3000 that promises a brighter and sharper LCD screen will launch first in Japan on October 16, 2008. With a price tage of approximately £90, the device can also be used for VoIP purposes using Skype. Unfortunately, the brighter screen doesn’t come without a price–it’ll shave off 20 to 30 minutes of your battery life. While it may not mean much, think of how much 30 minutes of playtime is when you’re bored out of your mind in a plane, a bus, or a ship with a PSP that’s ran out of battery life. Even more unfortunate still, it seems Sony is encouraing people to buy an extended battery pack to compensate for the loss of battery life. I guess this means there are no plans of improving the PSP-3000’s battery life in the future.

Artist bakes edible bread ‘body parts’

20050904190511
Ok, this one goes perfectly with all the weird Halloween cakes and edible scary stuff… Body parts made from bread - "Along with edible human heads crafted from dough, chocolate, raisins and cashews, Kittiwat makes human arms, feet, and chicken and pig parts. He uses anatomy books and his vivid memories of visiting a forensics museum to create the human parts. "When people see the bread, they don’t want to eat it. But when they taste it, it’s just normal bread," he said. "The lesson is ‘don’t judge just by outer appearances."

Kid attempts to steal wrestler’s PSP; fails

Those thieves who make their living stealing PSPs are either getting even less smart or more desperate. Either way, this latest story of attempted PSP, er, reallocation should give everyone a slight grin. Elijah Burke, or the Black Pope as he may be known in the world of wrestling (forgive us if we got that wrong — our wrestling knowledge is on the same level as a turtle), wrote up his experience in a blog about a 14-year-old kid that tried to steal from him on a plane.
What happened essentially was this: Burke took his PSP out of his bag and placed it on a seat rest betwixt him and the kid and promptly fell asleep (the kid was sleeping too). When he woke up, it was gone. He made a threat which we’re sure almost melted the kid’s mind, then the wannabe-thief removed the lifted PSP from his bag and returned it. Note to all: don’t be that dumb. It’s obvious you took it. Another note: don’t steal from people much, much bigger than you.
[Thanks, Joseph B.!]
