Bookmark Pictures on the Web with vi.sualize.us

vi.sualize.us (read visualize us) is an interesting web tool that lets you bookmark and save images or photographs that you may encounter on the Internet.

del.icio.us users will feel at home as this photo bookmarking service shares lot in common with delicious. For instance there’s support for tags (both popular & recent) and the bookmarking tools are similar as well.

The big difference is that while delicious only save the link of the current web page, vi.sualize.us will save a link as well as a copy of the image so even if the source disappears, your images bookmarks are preserved forever much like iterasi.

If you maintain a flickr account and have no intention to save web pictures elsewhere, try the Flickr Uploader for Firefox – this add-on enables you to send images from a web page directly to Flickr with a simple right click.
