Tomorrow is the day, when Rockstar’s master-piece, Grand Theft Auto IV, hit the shelves. Everyone knows that GTA IV is going to be BIG, How big are we talking? You can say that big enough because guys behind Guinness World Records are keeping a every close eye on GTA IV’s launch.
The GTA Series already have several records on it’s name, including,
* First Full “Sandbox” Action-Adventure (GTA III)
* Biggest Selling Game of 2001 (GTA III)
* Biggest Selling Game of 2002 (GTA: Vice City)
* Best-selling PlayStation 2 Game (GTA: Vice City)
* Best-selling PSP Game (GTA: Liberty City Stories)
* Largest In-Game Soundtrack (GTA: San Andreas)
* Largest Voice Cast in a Video Game (GTA: San Andreas)
* Most Guest Stars in a Video Game Series (franchise)

With 8 records under it’s belt, what’s left you might ask? This time it could be aiming at the “Biggest launch in entertainment history” which is previously claimed by Halo 3 in September. Halo 3 did a sales of $170 million in one day and $300 million in a week.
As per new AP Report, GTA IV is excepted to hit 9 million copies. Hmm, 9 million multiply by 60 and Rockstar get an amazing amount of $540 million in just one day, Halo 3 took a whole week to get $300 million. Even if GTA IV get the half of excepted amount of copies, Mr.Niko still crushes Master Chief record. All these are assumptions, let’s see how well real sales do tomorrow.
