The CatBox 360: Games for cats

The CatBox 360: Games for cats
Cats want games too. If your cat wants to get into some gaming action, now they can thanks to the CatBox 360. When your cat steps into the automatic litter box, a new game is activated and a random music track begins. Colored indicators scroll down the LCD screen like in Guitar Hero or Rock Band.

When the cat’s paws scratch across the litter, it triggers the notes, and every time your cat “answers nature’s call” in the litter box, the game enters a bonus multiplier mode for extra points. Some tunes include: Cat Scratch Fever, Stray Cat Strut, and of course, Cool for Cats. The makers of the game warn that a handful of cats have started “doing their business” whenever they hear music playing, so be careful when you use your stereo. You may have a clean up waiting for you. No price or release date yet. Don’t hold your breath…Or do hold your breath since your cat won’t be able to stop playing.

We give PS Store’s new video service a go: PC-to-PSP

Posted by Usman on July 19, 2008

It’s an endearing feature to have, knowing you could have tons of movies and television shows at your finger tips. There’s no need to go to the local video store (seriously, who does this anymore?) or even wait on those movies to arrive from mail-based rentals. However, we still have many questions regarding this new content for the PS Store.
We wonder if the PS Store is really ready to handle this kind of transaction and will it be easy to use? To help answer these questions, we gave the new video service a try and have presented a mini-walkthrough that’ll hopefully give some insight into getting started with the new service.

Real Homer(Updated)

Posted by Fawaz on March 24, 2008

This Pixeloo guy is really talented. You seen his work on Mario, if not then check out now. He is back as promised with “Simpson Homer” and he is looking real good.

Real Homer

This one was a bit more difficult in that i wanted the light to come in mainly from one side with a bit of back light. So all my reference had to be lit from one side. For textures i needed but didn’t have this lighting situation, i had to darken or light a bit to give the same effect.”

PS: His texture reference photos will be up in couple of days, will be sharing with you guys.

UPDATE:

Mr.Pixeloo has shared his texture reference photos. Following are the images, Pixeloo says,”Hopefully these people won’t mind me posting their pictures

LG Super Multi Blue Player

Posted by Usman on March 21, 2008

LG Super Multi Blu-Ray Player

This is a player we’ve been wishing for since we heard of the idea: the LG Super Multi Blue Player ($1200; Q1 2007). This bad boy takes care of the format war for you, playing both Blu-Ray and HD DVD discs, as well as offering HDMI, component, and composite video outputs, as well as optical, coaxial, and discrete 5.1 audio outputs. It might be expensive, but it’s also a do-everything video player that would make a great addition to your home theater.

Stars want adoptions to stay in Korea!

Posted by Usman on March 20, 2008

Stars want adoptions to stay in Korea

Agreed. Korea is no longer a struggling poor developing country where the young and innocent are sent off to countries around the world for the hopes of a better life. Now, the Korean government is campaigning to keep adoptions within the motherland.

And this year, top stars Lee Mi-yeon, Yun Eun-hye, Joo Ji-hoon, Kim Jung-Eun, Jang Hyuk, Park Jung-a, Lee Seung-ki, Wondergirls, Suh Kyeong-suk participated in a special photo shoot by photographer Cho Sei-hon.

The “Letter from the angels No. 5″ campaign started in 2003 to encourage adoptions within the country.

The star studded black n’ white photos will be displayed at the Insa Art Center (Gana Art Gallery) in Insa-dong, Seoul from December 12 to 19th, 2007. Or, you can view more pictures at lovefund.or.kr (in Korean).

The Young Spidey.

Posted by Arslan on March 9, 2008

With the latest Spider-Man TV series set to premiere this weekend, we felt we should look back at some of the recent features we’ve done on the series recently. The Spectacular Spider-Man may be targeted at children, but Spidey is a lovable character. You don’t have to go to grade/high school to empathize with some of the things Peter Parker goes through during the day.

The Spectacular Spider-Man is aimed at a younger audience… you know, those little people called kids. There’s already been some fan complaints about this, but to me, there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with a kid-oriented Spider-Man series. He’s a character kids love and this is after all a Saturday morning series.here’s plenty of us who came to know and love the character thanks to The Electric Company and Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends after all, which are hardly known for their hard-hitting, edgy stories.
