Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic

Posted by Usman on July 23, 2008

image

Another great yet creative title for PS3 coming up.

Imagine having a Kung Fu Fight with string puppets, except you don’t have to worry about getting the strings tangled up, and you don’t have to have a kung fu fight. You control the characters on screen with the controller – there are no pre-scripted animations in the game – it’s all up to you – to walk, you have to literally pick up one foot, then place it in front of the other.

Sounds tricky maybe, but it doesn’t take long before you’re spinning through the air like a Russian gymnast.

This means you get to create your own style, and can act out whatever you feel like, and of course, if you really feel like it, you can have a fight.

It’s about Chi power.

Check Out the Ps3 Game play as well.

See how you can also play it on pc after the break…

E3’s greatest trailer: Duke Nukem Trilogy

Posted by Usman on July 19, 2008

E3 had some pretty cool trailers this year, but Duke Nukem Trilogy’s definitely has to be our favorite. We went in hoping for a little bit of gameplay footage. Something to give an indication of what the game will actually look or play like, perhaps? Instead we sat through four minutes of the worst best trailer ever created. To be fair, we’re going to be watching this trailer over and over for the rest of our lives. Whether the games actually come out or not, we’re entertained. Enjoy the trailer!

NOTE: This video is funny but it contains some real adult language.

The Young Spidey.

Posted by Arslan on March 9, 2008

spidermanaction_1203021863_640w.jpg

With the latest Spider-Man TV series set to premiere this weekend, we felt we should look back at some of the recent features we’ve done on the series recently. The Spectacular Spider-Man may be targeted at children, but Spidey is a lovable character. You don’t have to go to grade/high school to empathize with some of the things Peter Parker goes through during the day.

the-spectacular-spider-man-20080114090600158_640w.jpgthe-spectacular-spider-man-20080114090601533_640w.jpgthe-spectacular-spider-man-20080114090558580_640w.jpgthe-spectacular-spider-man-20080114090559174_640w.jpg

The Spectacular Spider-Man is aimed at a younger audience… you know, those little people called kids. There’s already been some fan complaints about this, but to me, there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with a kid-oriented Spider-Man series. He’s a character kids love and this is after all a Saturday morning series.here’s plenty of us who came to know and love the character thanks to The Electric Company and Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends after all, which are hardly known for their hard-hitting, edgy stories.
